Extreme heat wave weather event for WA, SA, & Vic., on the way.

Take all the precautions, those in the areas effected.

Extreme heatwave to stretch from northern WA to Adelaide and Melbourne
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Mangoes - Ouch. Summer fruit coming in and very welcome here. I wonder how the 37+++ will hit the farms

Min of about 27-28 last night might have kept a few of us Coastal Vics tossing a bit. I note the Northern types had 29 over night with humidity I bet that toasts our puny efforts

The Bureau Of Meteorology (BOM) defines a heatwave as three or more days in a row in which both day and night temperatures are unusually high for that specific location.
    LOL!
Couldn't possibly be more vague than this explanation!

Why is it that in the late 60's and early 70's, as a kid ... every day over summer felt like that!

I was stuck in a traffic jam on the Westgate bridge. Was 47°C sitting on the asphalt.

We experience 45c+ temps quite often in summer and we are only 500k north of Perth.
    Nothing to see here
