Yeah , I remember the Buff club in Darwin , I dont remember it as RAOB , but as another open watering hole in Darwin.
Did they sponsor a rugby league club from there?
it is RAOB club I had a look yesterday. There is a local footy ( AFL ) team called the Darwin Buffaloes but I don’t think they are sponsored by the club , but I could be very wrong as it’s not something I follow closely.Quote:

When I go to Mt Isa these days I usually stay in a Motel in town, so the Buff's is handy to walk to for a feed & if one happens to over indulge I'm walking back to the Motel anyway.
I did have some BIG night at the Irish back in the 90's.
