I have been guilty of this in the past, now I have a rule of only working half days when on leave, so if I work in the morning, I have the afternoon to myself, and vice versa.
Because I'm in Industrial Sales I typically get an enforced holiday into the beginning of the New Year.
So far I've been repairing fencing, digging footings then concreting for walls on a shed and laying bricks. Then there is repairing a bed one of my boys broke, fixing a toilet at the Father-in-law's, today was cleaning the FIL's motorhome (ready for him to sell it) plus the usual gardening, cleaning spouting etc.
I did manage to spray a few Land Rover parts in low lustre olive and collected some spare parts from a fellow forum member (thanks Tom).
Back to the daily grind next week for a well earned rest.......

Problem is it would take twice as long and my projects take long enough as it is.......
I did have a day off last week and went to Philip Island with the kids. Came back and spent the evening in front of the TV.
Next day, back laying bricks.....
Feet up tomorrow, office based for a couple of days then back out on the road.
