    Grey nomads, the journey

Don't leave it till it's too late,

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I think I'll give the horn cabinet and sewing machine a miss.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Did you know the ex-truck driver at Karumba?

Enjoyed that but how old is it? Lots of old cars.
The Navigator and I watched it and she said she didn't want to be alone like Mary. Mind you, after a year away Mary had no plans to go home.
I'm a social person so I don't want to be a sole nomad, I would share the experience.

We met someone like Mary a couple of months back at a free camp. She was living out of the back of a van and had sold all her assets. She developed heart problems and was booked into the Prince Charles. Did not know how to get there or where to leave her van as she did not want to leave it at the free camp site.
Health issues can be a major problem.

He looks familiar Bob, but I can't say I know him.

That was soooo refreshing to watch. In the words of a major sports company......JUST DO IT!
Ken and I are going to keep doing the park management work for about 3 years and then go travelling without working.
We have the vehicle and in just a few weeks time we’ll have our new hybrid van.
We could go now, but we both like working at this stage.
Can understand the health concerns but hey, I’d rather drop dead doing what I love than sit there wondering when it MIGHT happen. LIVE FOR TODAY is our motto

Yep we are 51 and looking forward to it, and they way the country is changing and bitumen is increasing it would have been great to do it back then.
I did a lot of travelling when younger, but the appreciation wasn't there then
