I wonder if the other party will get a replacement car in a hurry or get tied up in knots by the Insurer. At least they will have a friend in high places to hurry them along if it happens.

According to teh BBC it is another FL2 that the royals own and has been seen at Balmoral.

I don't think even LR would keep a spare FL2 in storage for what 4 years.

Replacement is coming down from Balmoral it seems, as there is a bit of a shortage here at the mo due to the sudden popularity of Freeloaders.


Yea yeah yeah, the Tartan seat covers have been changed to the ones with the Greek Flag embossed on them.

By the way Bruce, the old bloke needs to get his incontinence under control, going by the state of the originals I've just seen. What a mess!
And please instruct him not to spill the Dewars on them as it is a hell of a job to get that odour out of the car.

Good luck with this one, I hope he doesn't run up the arse of an HGV & scratch it. You have no idea of the amount of paperwork & sleepless nights this has caused me.

Recently whilst at the doctors he asked her does she still drive.

She proudly pulled out her licence and showed it to the Doc and said "yes I do."

He cut it in half and said "well you don't need this anymore."

As for Ian's OP saying some don't deserve a LR, it was only a Freelander.

Well actually Doctors cannot do that - only the Licencing authorities or a court can do that. The Doctor can submit a report to the Licencing Authority and they will make the decision - though at her age she would have to have her renewal forms signed off by the Doc which he may refuse to.
