    Brisbane - China.....which airline?

Just sorting a work trip....it will either be

premium over and business back or

    business both ways

China Southern I believe is way better option than China Eastern.

Not sure if Cathay fly from Brissy, but I've gone Cathay to HK and then Dragon Air to wherever in China.

Looks like I’ve been booked on Cathy Pacific

Brisbane A350 to Hong Kong A330 to Qingdao

3hrs factory inspection than straight back

Qingdao A330 to Hong Kong A350 to Melbourne 737 to Brisbane

I haven’t done much international travel....it surprises me the first question most people ask.....

what type of plane are you on??

My response was dunno......much to their surprise. It seems to be quite important to most.

I see my itinerary states the type of plane. I wonder if the window seat has a window.

Don't order western food or you might get a hot dog. Chinese is the go.

Check the correct dates have been stamped on your passport before you leave the counter.
Don't try to discuss politics with anyone - they may be afraid the conversation will put them in danger. There are ears every where.
China is more technologically advanced than Australia and has a fascinatingly rich history and culture so be interested but don't make comparisons with Australia. Its just different so be interested in its own terms.
Try not to get drunk at banquets.
    Enjoy.

I don’t talk politics in day to day conversation

I’m going for work traveling solo.

I have a 3hr factory tour/inspection and sign off on two pieces of equipment.

No time to see anything.....apart from factory, hotel, airport and planes

    Order??

I’m hoping I’ll have choices and if I don’t like one I’ll just ask for something else......assuming business class has options.
