Don't know about average, but NSW has hit the jackpot.

Temperatures are expected to reach 40 degrees in Nowra on the South Coast, 43 degrees in Penrith in western Sydney, 41 in Cessnock in the Hunter region and 42 in Bulahdelah on the mid-north coast.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Gee, 40° at Nowra would almost get me to do a quick run to the coast for a dip in the Tasman. Almost!

In outback and desert areas, summer minima can drop significantly, as soon as the sun sets, so an 'Average Temperature' can be misleading in the context of this particular topic. If considering human capacity for survival, I would think that the 'Average Temperature' would be better reflected by a method of 'One hour after sunrise to one hour before sunset' average.

Below shows a mean of 42.7° for Paraburdoo. Now, using ' Saitch's Method Of Observation' (SMOO), this mean would even increase a bit.

if you want it, be prepared to double your bill for the upgrades.
Incorrect. Upgrades to the NBN line into your house will to Jack if the node or exchange batteries run out. In populated areas they have 24hour battery life. In country areas you will lose all communications except UHF/HF radio in under 8 hours post a power outage unless they get generators in. Makes it tough if they are in a fireground. FYI they don't chopper in the fuel or generators generally.

I have been advocating to federal and state parliament about issues with NBN for over 5 years. They will wait for people to die before doing something though because the issue is too expensive to remedy.

Have a battery powered am/FM radio in your emergency kit if you live in a fire prone area. Maybe the only way to get info other than UHF in a power outage.

    24h battery life?
that is most certainly not correct.

If climate change does cause the average temperature to rise by 4-5 degrees by 2100 as predicted, then we could be in the deep doo doo Rambling Boy described.
We better install lots of solar panels to generate the electricity we will need to be able to afford to run air-con so we can survive.

Could you please give references as to who is claiming the temperature will rise by 4-5 degrees C by 2100.

Everything I have read and the IPCC claim 1.5-2C.

What's not correct about it? Do you mean there is longer or shorter battery life? FYI I'm in Victoria. No NBN or mobile towers anywhere in regional Victoria have a generator on site nor a battery capacity over 8 hours. So please let me know if you know of sites that are different so I can keep our federal member informed.

But then you probably had the Air Conditioned Front Bar to fall back on at the end of your working day.

You might but by then I won't be giving a flying **** about it.

    EDIT.

Eerr, not fall back on as such, if you get my drift but nice to know it was there just in case you got overly ****ed.
