Well, went into town this morning. First stop, my preferred repairer. Turns out that since they have been taken over by IAG he won't touch my insurer (CGU) with a bargepole. So then to the nearer of CGU's preferred repairers. Can't look at it until June. Then to a second one of their preferred repairers. Booked in May 22nd there. He commented that if it had been before Easter, he could have started next week, but apparently the kangaroos have been out He tells me that about 75% of his repairs are kangaroo damage. Also asked his opinion of bullbars - he thinks that they are worthwhile on four wheel drives, but the ones you can fit to ordinary cars are not worth fitting.

    Hey JD,

Keep teaching her & then get car fixed in case she strays again, she may balance up other side.

    Cheers

Problem has arisen today - insurance company is replacing the bullbar - turns out ARB only makes them with a winch cutout now. Anyone know of a source for a new ARB bullbar for a 110 without a winch cutout?
Worst case I accept the one with the cutout and make up a plate to go over the hole.

Look you going to have to bite the bullet and get the Bullbar then you have very valid excuse then for buying a winch.

Then next time you prang it you can winch ya self home, K?
