At, say $200 a pop = $200,000. Not bad for a few Box Brownies in an afternoon. She will be happy. " Treasurer , we must try this on again soon while the populace is still a bit be- fuddled".

US Vice-President Kamala Harris became the first woman to - briefly - be given presidential powers while Joe Biden underwent a regular health check.

President Biden transferred power to Ms Harris for about 85 minutes, while he was placed under anaesthesia for a routine colonoscopy on Friday morning.

The medical examination was Mr Biden's first as president and came on the eve of his 79th birthday.

The colonoscopy may be routine. The two days leading up to it are most certainly not!

It is all worth it in the end. Did you see what I did there?

They really do need to have a good shufti, as you would be aware John, it would be rude not to.

I believe Preps have improved out of sight these days (Thank goodness), the previous **** was diabolical. My first one was about 34 years ago & the memory of that is still with me. What with the Nurse dropping & smashing a Mercury thermometer & the panic that caused then. Blimey!

You're going to scare him with a bit of Vera? Maybe some Frank as a backup.

NSW has had these operating routinely for several years now. Not too clear how useful they are with those who drive cars with a near vertical windscreen rather than a windscreen that doubles as a greenhouse roof, such as a 'real' Landrover. Especially those with an external sunvisor!

Naaah, that seems a bit feeble. To really scare the **** out of him/her challenge him/her to a 40km run & then a swim between Jetties that you recently did. Hopefully he/she might be a bat fastard, collapse & visit your rooms. You can then have your "mates" (colleagues) check him/her over & give them the bad news that they may have only have a couple of hours to live so will have time to repent for his/her sins.
Then send him/her on their merry way or call an Ambulance, the account being in his/her name & let them get stuck with a huge bill for Transporting.

Each time in future that you hear Vera you will think of the good times where you helped others mend their ways.

That should learn them a lesson.

Job done. easy peasy. Well, maybe Vera & Frank may be a bit easier to do.
