I was in Seatle after a Month in Canada 8 years prior to Kurts death. It RAINED. I went to a bar and the band was good but depressing after an amazing time in Canada. Next day I flew back to Canada for a weekend!
One trivia was I was in front of Kurt and did not appreciate it at the time. Debate about Security Guards and firearms/Pepper spray-Shore time
After coming back from about three years at sea to a shore base gave me a LOT of time off duty. The Watson Bay Pub lost its sheen after a few days emptying my wallet[biggrin]
I got a security job for Friday night's weekend to make it a bit more productive. I brought a very nice BMW K100 for cash a few months later[bigrolf]
Trivia one
Back to guns! Called up by the security company asking me to cover a Jewlery show. I turned up as was given a loaded revolver[bighmmm][bighmmm] I was 18. I had done firearms training with SLRs, torpedoes and H.E.[bigrolf][bigrolf][bigrolf] I felt it was possibly a bit of a stretch with No Civilian Firearms licenses and said so. They reassured me it was ok[wink11]
Trivia 2 Locked and load I was put upstairs in a jewelry shop with the show downstairs. The Models came upstairs to change the jewelry and the clothes they changed.
NO FIREARMS where discharged and my 18 year old eyes may have looked a bit surprised by both the revolver and the models who clearly were not bothered getting changed with me in the room with them[bigwhistle][bigwhistle][bigwhistle]
