Trivia and other useless but interesting items

The DIL's Father called me about something and mentioned he has a 2000L Diesel tank on the farm,it hasn't had a drop of fuel in it for 5 yrs.

Do you think i should fill it up he asked?

Nah,i said,and anyway, i think you have missed the boat.[smilebigeye]

And another problem with the tank is, someone stole half the fuel many years ago,there is probably more chance of that happening now than back then.

I'd I'd be be tempted to and fill it with water, secured with a cheap lock. :twisted::Rolling:

Lake St Clair Ranger did that a few decades ago, caught a reasonably prominent local stuck on the roadside a few km from Derwent Bridge.
