FWIW. For Ride-on Mowers my repairer inserts a strip of heavy lounge room Carpet in between the tube & inner tyre face. Gives thorns somewher to go before hitting the tube.

Seems to work ok, but depends if one takes their Mower across the Kalahari or not.

Re dog poo, in Doomadgee we just water the yard regularly & the Dung Beetles get rid of any dog poo in a couple of hours.

I grew up with "3-corners", but round here they seem to be "catheads".
