It was bound to happen James. I raised this point here when mask wearing became popular but I was wrong it seems, & Bank Holdups didn't seem to increase & if they did nobody was game to say. Back in the olde Days when we went on the rob we used Cowboy type Bandanas to cover up & Tommy Guns. But hey ho, fashions & styles change.

The cops were also masked, so if one was belted across the lughole by a Cop he couldn't be recognised, & I'm not even sure they have their # on display with the changes to the Nazi Black Shirt type uniforms here, inc Black T shirts.

Probably it is somewhere indiscreet if you could find it. Maybe even on the soles of their boots, that'd make sense.


I trust your missus looked the part on the Vid. Hair nice, lippy done, expensive clobber, nice photogenic smile even though she'd just been robbed. etc.. Things is bloody grim when you need to dress up to go shopping just in case one gets their mug on security Vid or even Ch 7 TV News.

Noting newer solar panels would double the Solar power. On the other hand Portland, Ore.–based company NuScale Power new designed and approved small modular reactor (SMR) might take it up a few 1000%+++

The company expects to sell anywhere from 674 to 1,682 SMR reactors between 2023 and 2042. They suggest SMR are "100% carbon-free; ¼ the greenhouse-gas emissions over lifecycle vs solar"
the 100% carbon free is ?????????????? Not likely here except in a sub or two

Poor sods in Mexico might be grumpy for the reason their fuel in Mexico is now a bit more expensive?

Unclear exactly how the subsidy works (worked) in Mexico, but most, if not all, fuel sold in Mexico would be from oil produced by Pemex - which is government owned. So exactly what is a subsidy in this circumstance is not clear.
