A large dollop of tomato sauce will make the hat a bit more palatable.

I was going to post that picture myself, but you got in first.

    Oppenheimer

NOT trivial if your Hindu - Excuse any offense !

"Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan's sweeping new biographical thriller about the "father of the atomic bomb", has opened to a glowing reception around the world. In India, it's been a hit too but some have protested against a scene depicting the scientist reading the Bhagavad Gita, one of Hinduism's holiest books, after sex. Oppenheimer learnt the ancient Sanskrit language and counted the book as one of his favourites.

In July 1945, two days before the explosion of the first atomic bomb in the New Mexico desert, Robert Oppenheimer recited a stanza from the Bhagavad Gita, or The Lord's Song.

Oppenheimer, a theoretical physicist, had been introduced to Sanskrit, the ancient Indian language, and subsequently the Gita, as a teacher in Berkeley years before. The 2,000-year-old Bhagavad Gita is part of the Mahabharata - one of Hinduism's greatest epics - and at 700 verses, the world's longest poem.

Saw the show Monday Night. Very good yet sad topic. The Ability to read "Sanskrit" and chat in several languages after just a few weeks was amazing and not trival as well!

    This is cool trivia.

"Out of 10.9 million marathon runners, the death rate is 1 per 259,000 participants, compared to 1 death per 52,630 participants in triathlons."

I appreciate this is not a direct comparison! "According to the World Health Organization (WHO), road traffic injuries caused an estimated 1.35 million deaths worldwide in 2016. That is, one person is killed every 26 seconds on average."

My point is running kills a lot less people FYI Triathlons are swimming, then riding and then running.

MIA Culpa I know the Alfred Hospital does OVERTIME for every Melbourne Marathon helpfully keeping this ratio stable perhaps.

Is it just me, or does the idea that 10.9 million people run marathons disturb anyone else??

"Google says people should use its search engine to check whether information provided by its chatbot, Bard, is actually accurate.

Some have suggested chatbots like Bard and ChatGPT could "kill" traditional search, which is dominated by Google.

But users have found the information they provide can be wrong or even entirely made up.

Google's UK boss Debbie Weinstein said Bard was "not really the place that you go to search for specific information".

I suspect the reason for that is you were in front & too **** scared to look back over your shoulder in case you went arseup & got flattened by the millions behind.
