New ripper unbeatable and unstoppable are common as mud over time
"The first known combat damage to an F-35 fifth-generation fighter aircraft from a likely Iranian attack suggests that stealth jets can be detected by electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensor systems, according to Chinese analysts.
US Central Command reported that the stealth fighter was forced to make an emergency landing during a combat mission over Iran on Thursday."
Trivia time - Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) missiles have not only existed for decades, They are currently some of the most advanced and widely deployed precision weapons in 'many' modern military arsenals. for example Anti-Ship and Hypersonic Applications: Advanced EO/IR seekers are currently being tested on high-speed ballistic missiles (such as Lockheed Martin's PrSM Increment 2)
Some like it hot! Both Russia and China consider advanced EO/IR seekers critical to their strategies, particularly as a way to quietly target Western stealth aircraft (like the F-35 or F-22) which are designed to evade radar, but still emit heat.
Not political post- New anything get older with time is my point. We got some in 2018- They started according to Wikki "the Request for Information for the Advanced Tactical Fighter project in May 1981, which resulted in the F-22.[39]" Not a baby in many ways![]()

This Black Duck helped burn a fire break and started burning a 1/3 of the enclosed area slowly to help them. (Hamilton Vic)
Stopping for Lunch I noted a HUGE black smoke column!!!! Just as several locals CFA volumeters tossed lunch and headed out with lights and sirens. Fire was out. The whoops NO PERMIT To burn was lucky plus we had protected the place before hand!!!![]()
A Vic firefighter was 'badly' burned yesterday. Alive is VERY good! The significant injury was not at my crew!
The concern or dislike of the very good shot and good mate with his SLR when I was diving just sprang to mind when reading this

Cow dung hotpot, anyone? China’s ‘dark cuisine’ dish has deep cultural roots
Cow dung hotpot, anyone? China’s ‘dark cuisine’ dish has deep cultural roots | South China Morning Post
I have told my self one post per day - This is five I thinkWhat is the oddest thing you have eaten? Octopus are yum, Sashimi tuna is as well when I catch it! I am challenged! I would try it and probably will "Hailing from southwest China’s mountainous Guizhou province, the notorious cow dung or niubie hotpot is a stew that is made out of undigested grass from a cow’s stomach and intestines, as well as cow bile.
Also known as bitter or cow bile hotpot, this creation often falls into the category of “dark cuisine” in Chinese gastronomy, which refers to unconventional food combinations that challenge culinary norms."
Hmm. I've eaten some, I suppose considered 'Exotic', things in my travels, but I reckon I'd pass on this. One of the tastier things I've eaten is Flying fox. Fruit diets make their meat very tasty. I wouldn't try it in this day and age though, with the virus risk. In saying that, I wonder if Lyssavirus and Hendra virus could be caught by ingestion?
'sit bonum tempora volvunt'
I think the viirus would be killed by cooking, but the danger would be in the preparation and handling them before cooking, So, no.

The Scottish government took down an image from an advert for bus travel in the Highlands after it was revealed the picture actually shows a nature reserve in China.
The campaign, which highlights £2 bus journeys in the Highlands and Islands, uses an image of a bus travelling along a winding road.
But instead of demonstrating the beauty of the Scottish landscape, it has emerged the photograph was taken much further afield - in the Changbai Mountain area in China.
Transport Scotland confirmed that the image was provided by an external marketing agency.
