We'll bide our time then, John. We'll met up one day down here or worst comes to the worst ^^^^^^ up thataway or down there VVVVV, it depends.[biggrin]
Dunno about that, but Jan could be pretty ****ing scary when she had the mind. Ian and I have certain, shall we say, similarities. Those things she didn't like about me... You can see where this'll go. She's been gone four years and she's still got me by the goolies.
Four years of no Christmas. I can't blame her kids, it was bloody rough for them too. On the bright side, my son and his family, wife and two boys, 10 and 7, will be here, near me, for the absolute first time for Christmas. I will see them on that day for the first time, so there can be blessings in all of the hurt.
Blimey! I still have mine,I think, haven't been game to look of late.
Cancer. There is a lot of it around still. My Dad went at age 49, in 1957, left wife & 5 boys.
Today there is excellent treatment but back then they burned buggery out of him with their new fangled ray treatments. Probably he was a Lab Mouse. ****ed his voice box & chest was burnt to buggery but back then that was it or nothing.
I'm pleased to hear that. Value that time, John. Eldest daughter ,we have not seen for 20+ years although she lives within 30 ks Her choice, her loss. She'd be like a complete stranger now if she rocked up.
But then she also distanced herself from her Sister & Aunts so ****em. No explanation to any of us.
Off now to see if the Brits MCC can save themselves a tanned arse, not suntanned, a bloody good seeing to.[bigrolf] They start late in the arvo & play under Lights until 10. It was interesting night before last when a Thunderstorm with Lightning passed over. Started a few small fires but no-one was injured that I can see.
