I got a Phone call from Australian Immunization Register (AIR) yesterday re an overseas vaccination. AIR asked me to check if a country code was recorded for 3 people ??? AIR staff cannot see it!!!! Discussed a bit before I said yes but I had to call back as I was Driving and not near a computer. I was Given the public 1800 number and assured the "Provider option" would work to help them work out re International Vaccine Certificate Issue they have. AIR cannot view details recorded on the AIR
I checked. Doctor had clearly added country to OS vaccine records. I called and 20 minutes later was being asked to do more for AIR and they didn't know who from them had called me. We did our job- they have issues seeing records and details and ask us to do their job as the system is that **** poor they cannot even see if a country code had been recorded.
OMG I have to laugh some times. Not grumpy with the poor sods working there. We cannot fax details to AIR now, we cannot email details to AIR now. They demand we do it online. They cannot see the online stuff. Yes Minister eat your heart out https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/e...5/16/1f642.png PS several other Medicare/health areas have worse issues than AIR. Worse the person/people who needed that from AIR should have had it several months ago!! They are not here in Australia and must think we are a joke plus!
