All through this "pandemic" with all the lockdowns here in Vic, all the CHO orders, all the 5k bubbles, all the no visitors to your home, all the stickers on the floor in your supermarket, all the 'stay away' from your grandkids, all the 21:00 to 05:00 curfews, all the pepper spray and not so rubber bullets, all the closed playgrounds, it was OK to visit a brothel? I guess sex workers had another level of 'mask' available to them? Tipping the QR code thing won't be an issue.

Or is that another conspiracy theory?

Probably not a conspiracy theory but simple stupidity. There's a lot of it about.

It seems to multiply with implied altitude.

I think in the context in which I mentioned it, it seems to be related to a perception of being above the rules. Almost like "I help make the rules, they don't actually apply to me". Seems to be prevalent at most levels of government in most countries.

Not just governments - it applies right down to family level. Not to mention in employment structures.

Maybe something to do with human nature?

If you do your own research you'll find that most people who do their own research are morons
