that's like saying don't buy a another d2 or d3 because they have also caught fire. or why buy land rovers with their inherent faults , isn't it.

All good mate, wasn't out to cause grief. Inherent mechanical faults are very different to an explosion in the cabin which would have seriously injured or worse the occupants had it been on the road when it occurred IMO. Had I a car that had done this to me, I'd not even want to be a passenger in another one much less own one or probably even anything from the maker, but again, just my thought process - not saying there's anything wrong with what's happened here.
