Well I will have to remember to just mention the leopard shorts and the man boobs and watch the posts roll in , and no Captn no speed camera around, just seems those in RRS's dont want to boogey on the highway. Luckily Cruisers and Patrols do, yet they dont have a hope against the V8, but they try ,

I just like seeing how the D3 goes against other 4bies plus so I can hear the V8 working. X5&#39;s are an upmarket Ford Territory, at least with the RRS you can go well on the road plus take it properly off road. If I wanted a onroad speedster I would kept the Territory and got a GTP. Glad I didnt do that and got the D3 instead , keeping working on your old man ,

Is your D3 V8 Steve? I thought everyone owned the TDV6 for fuel economy reasons.

How do you find the fuel consumption of the V8? Matt

Matt
Certainly is the V8 and was always going to be, I had wanted a V8 for years, and this was the best combination when I was looking at upgrading the Territory. Im just lucky that fuel economy isnt an issue for me, moreso when it really isnt that bad, currently with highway and normal bumper to bumber traffic ( if you can call it that here on the coast) it is around 13.8l/100km. Which is pretty good so I am lead to believe.

13.8 is pretty bloody good, a damn site better than the older D2, which is good given that it weighs quite an amount higher. Matt

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>13.8 is pretty bloody good
It started out at over 15, but since the engine is now run in ( I guess) it has dropped down. When we went to Fraser it snuck up to just over 14l/100 which one would expect. I filled up yesterday and it had done 560km to a tank. Thats almost better than the territory I had and its a V6,

Just read this post. Good to see the brakes work
Know the feeling of the take off. Still gets people when my 130 just launches off at the lights. Don&#39;t do it often though.
