Seen one!! What the hell is it Noel?
Boat Anchor?
Wiki is no help at all.[bigsad]
LOL! thanks.
This is more of 'an idea' ATM.
Stupid me didn't allow for timber shrinkage .. so large gaps at joints.
Those paling panels .. what a laugh.
Made to be a slight interference fit, a month later there's about a 30mm gap in the lateral direction!
Each board shrunk by about 5mm or so. Lengths not affected at all.
So have to redo them again.
Why again Arthur? Simply nail a sheet of Corro Iron over them. Job done.[smilebigeye]
Is it a shaper?
I wish I had space for such novelties.
never seen one.
But a quick Google search shows that URPE make(or made) slotting machines.
Can't find any info re soffit 500 tho.. that brings up some particle board product only.
But URPE brings up Grupo Gestintra URPE-GT .. and slotting machines
So you can make axle shafts now.
Nice.
Seems you blokes had as much sucess on google as I.It is known as a frontal hydraulic copy wood lathe. The green is original with tank pump, valves ect behind front cover and the blue part is where someone has gone to alot of trouble and expense to add the extra complete system

Started on this, just need to make some slits (marked in blue) for attaching straps too and maybe cutting out some (larger marked in blue) to lighten it or not bother and finally polish the scratches out ready for powder coating or leave it just polished, doing a little bit at a time every day.Attachment 154987
