    They could of played your cards back at you and asked for the part to be returned for assessment.

    Thanks stuck - would have happily sent it as the issue becomes one of principle (not being believed) as crazy as it sounds.
    Unfortunately Roverlord doesn’t sell series parts. Going to call British Autoparts.

    I've not had any real issues with parts from Paddocks.
    With brake cylinders they often give the option of no-name (**itpart), TRW or Delphi.

    Buying local gives you the ability to return parts but often they are exactly the same parts as supplied by Paddocks (or similar UK suppliers).
    I'd love to support local companies but typically Paddock's prices are about 30% less (including the freight from the UK) so I bulk buy.

    Maybe we should start a list of parts 'not to buy' from the likes of Paddocks/**itpart (although maybe this isn't allowed).
    I will not be buying bonnet rest strips from them again, I've no idea why they're impregnated with graphite (although I have a theory).
