IPB Blue is the basis for everything i am doing.
once i have it doing what i need done i will then do colourised versions in the same layout.

Inc I like the new Intro page (Portal). The blue is easier on the eyes.
Keep it as it is.

Hi Inc,
I voted NO thinking that the portal meant having the forums inside the border of the portal, but after having read that this is only temporary, the portal is OK https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Okies then https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
Could someone explain this RSS feed thingo to me https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
Do I need it?
Why can't I see it?
Should I have missed not having it?
Will it make my fora experience richer?

Hi Ralph,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS_(protocol)
But if you want it in English... Basically an RSS feed from a site can be read by an RSS client (another program ) so that a quick round up of new items... like head lines is available - you can then click on these to go to the original page.
It will not feed all the forum posts ( I suspect) - I assume Inc will have if just feeding the front page news - stuff like the G4 info on the portal.
In my case I work at a pc all day - and I run an RSS client in the background that alerts me to updates on a variety of websites - including my Antivirus vendor, Microsoft security updates etc.
Unless you spend a lot of time on a PC - but not on here...... chances are you don't need it.
Cheers, Mark
Inc. - feel free to fill in any gaps I missed https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

A seperate page for the Forums preferred.
and
correct the spelling of "Australian" before Ron sees it https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
Currently spelt "Autralian" in four places https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
[/b][/quote]
https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ I was giving Inc a bit of leeway until he sorted the other issues on the site. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
On a separate issue, corredt the spelling of "avaliable" in the help files (several times).
Another fix urgently required: Open the help screens in a new window. If one is typing up a post then selects Help, one loses the page on which one is working. Hitting the back button doesn't recover the text you laboriously entered. Ask me how I know. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
