on a topic reply notification, after the link to the thread, it says;-
There may be more replies to this topic, but only 1 email is sent per board
visit for each subscribed topic. This is
to limit the amount of mail that is sent to your inbox.
so how come i'm getting an email notification for every post on each thread that i'm watching. this arvo i had 10 emails alone on the D3 embedded winch thread, among the 32 i had to wade thru.....?????

I think you go to MY CONTROLS at the top and you are given a list of options down the left hand side, click ona few and set yourself up as you like.Originally Posted by spudboy

i am not seeing this problem, check what forums you are subscribed to and then your personal control panel
FYI you could turn email notifaction off and then use rss to get just the message headers.

I recon you would have to go back to all the threads you would like to watch and post a new reply and recheck the notification box.

Time will tell.
Oh while we're at it, can we make "receive PM's" default to ON please, and people can disable if they dont want it. I suspect that following these changes a lot of PM activity will be happening./ Cheers
