In Queensland at least, employers have a legal obligation to not discriminate against EMS volunteers and to release them to respond to emergency situations.
It is my experience that these laws are flaunted by government departments more often than private sector employers.
is that a law or a guideline for business?
i dont think SA has anything like this, im curious to find out now.

PS. To AULRO members. It was an LROC day where a dozen of us got together and put RR's, Perentie and a Series 2 up on a hoise and had a look at the differences on the underside, suspension, exhaust, damping, sumps etc.
