Because some people can't be vaccinated, and like any exception that creates a loophole which can be exploited. That then compounds and you have the situation we are in now.Quote:

A few years ago on my way off the plane in Singapore, we were scanned by, I assume, a thermal imager looking for anyone with an elevated temperature.
Ditto in China earlier this year.
