What a difference a couple of months make. The sun is out, thank goodness for that. [ wouldn't have said that in December] I see there is a lot of rain forecast for North Qld, up to 300 mm in some parts, from a cyclone off the coast. Still, have to be thankful the cyclone is supposed to move away from the coast.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

Well huey, you've done a great job. But you may stop for a while now, if you like. Or, rain where they still need it. See you when we need you, cheers.

I noticed last month in your district, Bob, that the 'Salt Water On Road' signs still go up on a king tide when the canals are flowing.

Salt water on road signs go up because some one sued the council for driving thru water on Flinders parade and complaining there was no notification. [ so the story goes] The locals just shake their heads.

From memory, you need good rain for the river to break through, don't you?
