Good guesstimate, but you should've gone with the lower estimate as BOM says "14 mm of rain since 9 am" Ilfracombe Weather - Bureau of Meteorology although to be fair your total might improve as still 90 mins to 9H00, provided it is still raining of course.

Was supposed to start here around midnight. At 0600, bottom of the gauge was dry and dusty.
Started to rain around 0700, been going ever since. Windy, miserable, and cold! (not too bad in here, need to put another stick on the fire though!)

dam it, with my on/off , on/off , plans for my trip , bush trip Mk111 was formulated last night.
Innamincka , my only available cross border point (or Cameron Corner) to put me on the Strezelecki track , had 20mm rain overnight.
All roads are now closed to traffic.
Who wants to go there now anyway......8*c @ Woomera today .
If they get no more rain and I really hope they do , the roads may , just may be open when/if I hit South Australia and the Strez next thursday.

Bom says 5mm at Maleny since 9am. Seems to be heavier both north and south of us, judging from the radar. Very welcome. Hope we all get more.
