Severe storm warning with predicted hail for the Sunshine Coast. Lots of thunder and rain getting heavier. BOM says we've already had 19mm since 9am. Lovely sound of water running into tanks. Send her down Hughie!
nothin' happening here , can hear some thunder in the distance, grey sky no rain yet.
With all the hype from BOM ...sounded like we were facing Armageddon. I've had about 5mm of gentle rain here at Carina in Brisbane.
Would love to get a job at BOM, you still get paid even if you stuff it up.
getting some good steady stuff , hope it soaks in again , don't want runoff. It becomes almost a river.
Just had a look at radar and its more than 1/2 way past us now......good.
Lots of colour , been a while.

You can thank Saitch for the gentle precipitation. Had he not prepared for the storm from hell, we'd have got the storm from hell.[biggrin]
Armageddon was postponed, but we had 36mm since 9am yesterday according to BOM, so that is very nice, but there is still room in the tanks for more, hopefully today.
This morn we're up to 14.4 mm for the week, 27.2mm for the week.
