How's everyone faring, this a.m?
6mm here, so far and 65.2mm for the month. I sincerely hope all the Westlake stormwater issues are not at play!

We've had a very wet few weeks, Last Saturday we drained 127mm from gauge at the farm from the week prior. We only had about 15mm over the weekend but we had sheep in the shed that we shore on Sunday, not sure when the shortage of shearers and the weather will let us get the rest done as we are forecast for heavy rains in the later half of this week.

Measured 12mm yesterday morning and 25.5mm this morning.
Kind of sloppy underfoot in places, driving to the village to get mail this morning the creek was about a foot of water with a foot of soft sand under that. But the 2a managed it taken at about 15kphn in 2H four wheel drive - came out in a cloud of steam and with the windscreen dowsed, but did not miss a beat Same coming back. (I have got stuck in the creek in the past going slowly in these conditions.)

Boy is this rain making the grass grow, Mowed on Friday & lowest setting on my mower & grass is about 100mm long already & too thick while wet to mow , If we get the rain they are saying we are going to get I am not sure my Chinese self propelled mower will mow it, It dose not have a throttle so can't adjust the speed that is set just over idle. May have to go over it with the Wiper Sniper first. We have had 60mm last two days.
Hughie sent her down today! Light rain on and off through the morning, and there was around 7mm in the gauge when I looked before lunch. Then it really started to rain about 1.30pm. It eased off about 2.15pm, and I checked the gauge again - about 30mm. There has been a little but not much since. Lots of thunderstorms about, all over the NW of the state.

Only 5mm since this time yesterday , will need to pump some water out of the pool today so it dose not overflow salt water into the garden.
