I knock out the cat's leftovers from it's bowl in the front yard for the local, plovers, magpies and crows, now they actually come to the yard when the see me, and I have to give them fresh food as well, but I'm not really grump about that.

We have Grey butcherbirds here, they spend a lot of time pecking at the dogs bones.

They also breed every year, sometimes twice.

In 20yrs,have only ever seen a Pied Butcherbird here once, the Greys chased it away.

The Greys also like peanuts, and will catch them in the air if thrown in their direction.

What's making me grumpy is the new soft touch TV remote buttons, they seem to wear out after a few years, I repaired one by putting metallic stickers on the back of the buttons. The good old hard clicking remote buttons used to last longer than the TV's, I've never had to replace one!

Congratulations on being able to find your remote often enough to wear out the buttons. I do hope though, that you're not one of those channel surfing types.
    Cheers, Billy.

I normally start out surfing the channels a couple of times, but there is so much rubbish on, I usually end up watching a recording.

Adding to that Rand, I try to ignore the Squeaky high pitched voices of some presenters if it is possible these days.

You would think these people would have to pass a "Suitability Test" before being employed. And that is just the blokes!

Maybe the HR. folk go for legs & tits before quality, not that there is anything wrong with quality legs & tits you understand, just shut your gob while presenting.

    There, I've said it.

    EDIT.

Re Reality Shows. Not in my world they are not. Nope, have never observed any friends, rellies or neighbours acting like turds like some of that lot.

Maybe on a Friday Night after work or a Saturday arvo they might or when ****ed, but certainly is not the norm.

Its no wonder Netflix and YouTube are so popular.
BTW if you want a laugh go to YouTube and search John Cleese: 'How to irritate people.' Very funny.
