Yes just ask John Bobbit! John and Lorena Bobbitt - Wikipedia
5km of three lanes. two traffic lights. As usual I was only one in left lane for 4km. As normal almost every other car was in right hand lane. Moved to middle then right lane to move to the right turn lane. The glare from the Driver behind me in the right hand lane as i dared to slow to move in the the turning lane may have needed sun glasses [bigrolf]
Happy New Year all
Went to town today. Thought the traffic was enough down to risk driving down Macquarie St. Found myself behind a van stopped in the only lane in my direction (median strip to right, angle parked cars to left. After five minutes, it became apparent he was waiting for a car to back out of a parking spot so he could go into it. All this time driver had right arm hanging out the window with a burning cigarette clutched in his hand (total fire ban, strong wind and dust storm!). He ignored my flashing him.
He could take lessons from 'er indoors who wills herself a Parking spot & bugger me, she most always seems to get one & if she doesn't then she waits with the appropriate indicator going, like a Leopard waiting for prey & woe betide anyone who takes the mick & wants to slide in around her. [bigsad] [biggrin]
My mother in law used to pray for parking spots, and usually got them.
I ask the Parking Fairy[emoji769][emoji2398] and always get a spot, and you have to thank them after or it won't work in future [emoji39]
Christmas Eve, large shopping centre and I got an undercover spot near the escalator when I had to do some work in Woolies and Big W.
One of the Big W staff members asked who I knew!
I didn't spill [emoji16][emoji23]
Of course not Rick, it would sound a tad silly for a grown man to say "My Parking Fairy organised it ducky.".[biggrin]
My Daughter always claims it is 'Rock Star Parking' when she wins a good spot.
Hmmm
Carparking always caused stress.
"Parking" to my Ex = abandoning it to me.
Its a different perspective... most guys have some pride in parking staight between the lines, in the right spot, first time and in a safe place. Gals think, ohh, Sales at Chaddy today.
