Many years ago I was service manager for a Daihatsu dealership , when the first of the Daihatsu Charade came I had to take my work boots off to drive them other wise I would get accelerator & brake or clutch & brake at the same time.[bighmmm]
I used to lust for certain cars & being a motor mechanic gave me the opportunity to drive some of them . Some were a pig to work on & niceeeee to drive , some good to work on but a pig to drive & a some the drive made up for being a pig to work on . I think the worst were the Rolls Royce they were a pig to work on & the drive there was no feeling no noise , just felt like sitting in a big lounge chair watching some thing boring on TV , didn't like them at all. The Rover 3500SE SD1 they had lots of faults but the there drive ability was something else  , wish I had kept that car.
