My Brother and Sister in Law live in Darwin - they went out and found some firewood and lit a fire in their fire pit and sat around it all rugged up - poor things, it only got to 24 and dropped to 18 overnight but not nearly as cold as Brissy - hope you guys up there are keeping warm.

Loved a yarn a few years ago re kids refusing to go to school swimming lesson as it was just 25 degrees in Darwin.
Just shouted some homeless people a hot chocolate. They are living in a car down to about 5 degrees over night. Mind you I have no issue swagging it above the snow line this time of year in the mountains. Usually with no fire so I do not smell to much sneaking about chasing my choice of tucker
Cold is relative to you
I'm struggling.
Cold is anything below 20°, cool is 20~25°, pleasant 25~35°, warm 35~40°, starting to get hot 40~45°, it's bloody hot aye, temperatures above 45°.
Actual temperatures may vary according to humidity.

That's a bit wussy. When I lived in Bangkok the minimum temperature there was always 3-4 higher than the maximum in Brisbane. I used to pack extra warm clothes to come back, because it was noticeably cooler. I think I would be quite comfy in Darwin.
