So you're a young father with three little kids in child seats in the back of your near new Nissan Navara, with obligatory fat tyres, a big bullbar and a 'Love it or leave it' sticker on the rear window, driving around the Gold Coast on a hot, steamy morning.
Logically you would crank up the air-con and wind up the windows to keep the little tackers as comfortable and quiet as possible - yes?
But no, you want to look tough, so you wind down the windows and drive around with your arm out the window, waving languidly, while ignoring the kids screaming and fighting in the back. Of course you do.
Seriously? Dumb, just dumb!
What gives you the right to be judgmental, Mike?
Maybe his air conditioning wasn't working.
Maybe he was trying to save energy, ergo, the planet.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
When I was a lad...
We never had air conditioning, so all the windows would be down and we'd be screaming in the back trying to dodge Dads hand and arm flailing wildly around as he leaned over the bench seat in the Kingswood trying to clip us around the ear while he shouted 'If you don't shut up, we're going home'

............& then one stops off at a cafe to chat with one's mates leaving the kids strapped into the kiddie seats & wind the windows up on one's Black Navara so it won't be nicked. Talk to one's mates for two hours when it's time to go to the pub & go back to the 'Nava' to find the kids Dead by heat stroke.
You think, "How the **** am I going to break this to the Missus them being her kids in our de Facto relationship?"
This seems to be happening more & more in this country recently so time to bring back the noose for forgetful & irresponsible
partners & ****wit "hubbies.
Judgemental? Moi? Oh, you meant Mick.
Btw, I reckon if his A/c wasn't working Ian, on such a crap day (as described above) he really should have stayed home with the little tackers. Doesn't sound like his mission out may have been urgent.
Just sayin', roight?
Yeah, the backseat of the Kingswood could certainly be a lively place, hey?
I mean, this bloke obviously looked like he'd much rather be cruising and showing off his tatts than minding three little brats, and I understand that - what parent hasn't felt that way at times, I certainly have - but what was noticeable was he was putting his attitude first and it wasn't making his life any easier.
