I can usually find a parking spot in the Parents with Prams area. They're under a sunshade, too.
The parking restriction is unenforceable so I don't care who glares at me.
Ah well. She has no problem parking between the lines, it is the angle that seems to bother her in her haste. "Please move the car over your way a few metres Darls, I can't open my door (When I am a passenger you understand)"

To save yourself any aggro Ron you could lock an empty pram in the car, that would take their mind off nicking you at least.
Oh hang about, I just noticed a flaw in my reply.![]()
Maybe a baby seat?

Why not? You could always wrap a small pillow in a Bunny Rug to keep the onlookers guessing until you had completed your shopping.
The downside could be that some sticky beak has put a couple of windows through.
I've recently discovered Seniors parking spots in shopping centre car parks on the Sunshine Coast. What a great idea!
I agree - why do fit mothers with prams need special parking positions - they push their sprogs in the pram/stroller so need no special assistance.
I am with you Ron, I park there all the time - and not had an issue and as you said it is legal for anyone to park there.

It should be glaringly obvious but isn't the shady bits so the car won't get up the 2000 c?
Just sayin'
We had a new supermarket open nearby recently ( in an old Masters hardware building ) but I noticed the parking areas and I'm on the same page as p38rover.
Between copious amounts of Disabled, Parents with prams, Seniors and people with a mild headache (ok, I made that last one up) Its a 20min hike to the front door of the shop.
Yea right, other than the Disabled, I won't use- tell someone who cares. I'm already driving a gas guzzling 4wd with a bullbar!
I'm sure Greta will say i'm going to Hell anyway.
