That’s why I budget and donate to a cause that actually puts all if not most of the money in to what they say it’s for

Oh and don’t forget about the wife’s demands🤭

Talk to your phone service provider about nuisance calls, or block the number they call from if that's possible via your phone.

Unfortunately charities are exempt from the "do not Call" list.

I am on the list but rarely get charity calls.

The "I am from the NBN and your ADSL will be cut off" calls come almost every day. But they come from overseas and when you hang up the computer just reschedules the call.
    Regards PhilipA

Yes getting them too . but not as often as charities , we get at least one calling every 2nd day some times from the same one but because my wife 's name is on the list & I answer they keep ringing back hopping that she will answer , she can't say NO. I would get the home phone disconnected but wife wants it , don't know why she never uses it any more just uses her mobile.

I did that as my wife refused to let me disconnect it .... BUT WHAT IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY ..... OR someone needs to ring us. I'd ask when the last call that wasn't a scammer or charity was .... and she couldn't answer. Anyone that knows us will know there isn't a chance in hell I'd answer the house phone.

hahaha, the landline rings and I let it ring...it is NEVER a call for me.

SWMBO says "why don't you answer the phone instead of letting it ring"?

My reply "because it's not for me.....if I answer it I have to go from room to room to find you....you are never where I can find you....you answer it"

so, if my mobile rings and I don't hear it , no one answers it.
