Very sorry to hear this - I have had a few anxious days, and feared I would lose my Series + shed (house a lot safer), but the RFS seems to have an effective control line along the far boundary of next door's place, and the weather is a lot better. But it is still listed as "being controlled
Still, just spent the morning to now widening the bare earth break round the house! And while I have unloaded the County, the bailout suitcases are still packed.

Best wishes anyway.
Yes, I knew the risks and accept them. Also lived in the Dandenong Ranges east of Melb most of my life and lived with fire all that time. There are people living there now who have no idea what can happen.
I was prepared and had it controlled but it only takes 1 ember.
People live with the threat of cyclones, floods, earthquakes etc. you can't hide from life.
Cheers,
Terry
Terry, it was the irony of where you live. It wasn't named that for nothing.
That is bad news. I hope you get the help you need to re-establish your self.
Sorry to hear it.
I see next week will see a return of hot fire weather, so stay safe.
