I have always presumed (since the Ho Hars seem to be hard working folks)- that is was from "Hi Ho, Hi Ho...it's off to work we go":p:p
With a slight modification ie. Ho Har ....

My name was changed a couple of months ago because i was getting sick of people telling me i should change my name to " Gottalandy " (wannalandy) and i had just bought Fusion speakers for the disco hence the my current name :D;):angel:.

Better not hijack - one last guess - ummmm - Horst! (is he german?)

Mine was originally mcguckiana (last name and first initial), but I changed it to McDisco. Its fairly straight forward...Mc from last name and I drive a Disco, hence McDisco! :D
