My uncle had a band back in the 70/80s and they called themselves The Burdizzos.
According to wiki a Burdizzo, is a castration device used primarily on goats, small calves, and sometimes on humans!!!
As I've been known to sing a ballad or two in my time, I changed burdizzo to BARDizzo.
Meldrew comes from a character, Victor Meldrew in a British TV comedy series about a grumpy older man. I suspect I an very similar to him, so chose that name.
im not dumb...........just uninformed
My best mate was a Doberman called Duke, best dog I've ever owned, and I bought a Disco 4.
So when I signed up to this site it had to be Duke4.
Variation of my nick-name from work.
Added the 'Super' to the front 'cos just plain Quag, is, a bit like stuck in the mud... :p
my name is carle and i am of the large economy size in body so no great stretch of the imagination for my user name, i also use the name in other forums and internet.
its better than my nick-name from the transport company i worked for, the drivers took nearly 8 years to come up with a name and that was "pussnuts" due to the fact of being married for those 8 years and not having a baby, not long after we became parents and the son os nearly 20!:o:o
Mine comes from a nickname I very briefly acquired in primary school. It never stuck as a nickname, but I use it everywhere on the internet. It's never taken as a username on any website, which is brilliant. If you find another turkeybrain on the internet, chances are it's me (except turkeybrain.co.uk, that's not mine - I've got turkeybrain.com).
In recent years it's actually turned back into my nickname. It's interesting being introduced to people as Turkey, I get some odd looks. People tend to assume it's my surname, or some take on it.
