It's all to do with making level playing fields or some such crap according to local pollies, one company should not be allowed to have an unfair advantage over another.....
Apparently one of the top turkeys at the now long gone opposition was put in charge of the other lots overseas hardware group...... and they had to sell it off for a pittance when it failed.
Bit of a pattern there, maybe they are a highly paid wrecker for tax reduction purposes who no doubt will go onto bigger and better jobs. :)
