It's to do with copywrite Bob.

Unattributed cut and pastes can open the site up to copyright infringement.
Unattributed copy/paste can also look like something is ones own thoughts when it isn't, which is plagiarism. Not a legal issue, but unethical.

If the site was hit with a copyright infringement case say ta ta to AULRO.

And bulk copy/paste just clogs up the site, it makes things hard for people on phones to read threads, especially where a simple few comments and a link can suffice.

Asking for a valid reason and indicating you are happy to follow rules and indicating things haven't been adequately explained seems disingenuous. The sticky outlines to everyone, what has already been outlined to you. We can resend the PMs if you have deleted or disregarded them.

Well put and a good explanation of why "Cut and Paste" isn't such a Great idea.

A simple "Link" is a beter legal and bandwidth friendly option and to be quite honest it is a Much easier option as well.[biggrin][thumbsupbig]

Got an email last night saying my order for 100 covid vaccines was changed to 300. Nice yet not at all sure I we can give them away at 150 per week when is almost hard to give 50 per week[thumbsupbig] Happily Mass vaccination sites are popping up all over the place and I hope to divert a lot of people that way and get back to allowing cancer, births, colds................. to get back to the normal chaos[bigrolf]

Not going to grumble as IF we do not use the 15 now each week I will just back off the ordering. Oddly as the deliveries are NEVER on the day they schedule them for my life is likely to be just that little bit less a PITA with DHL Delivery Driver Nazi . I am being tough- he is nice despite causing me chaos almost every time he turns up at the wrong times [bigrolf]

PS- The News in NSW is BUGGER plus. hope that is not a big issue as it seem it may be. Take care all

Thanks, I get that now, after a very good explanation from our favourite MOD. Quite happy to do just that. A proper explanation from the beginning would have solved the issue. Different people different management styles , that's life.
