Yes, people with COVID-19 who are on ventilators have to have repeated echo heart tests daily to look for heart damage. Our DIL works in the unit which does them in Brisbane. She trains doctors to understand the results of the tests.

This thread has to be the longest surviving Covid-19 affected thing in existence.
