The NSW Court of Appeal has overturned the ban on today's Black Lives Matter protest in Sydney and ruled it can go ahead. This means the protest is authorised and the organisers cannot be prosecuted.

What is your evidence that people in Vic or NSW aren't adhering to social distancing rules? The new cases in Victoria are now largely people who are in quarantine after returning from overseas.

Unfortunately the BLM protests probably will trigger new cases - but they took place in all of the States, not just Vic and NSW.

Looks like the border isn't as shut as the Queensland population has been led to believe. All the inconvenience and financial grief with no benefit....

Nothing to do with the border closure actually. He had an exemption as a seasonal worker, and had contact with an infected person in Melbourne. He flew in to Brisbane and up to Bundaberg for work. You must have missed the bit about the border was not closed to trade or commerce. The Qld population now want to close the southern border completely, no one in by road or air, and get our seasonal workers from the NT or NZ/ Cook Islands .Trade and commerce can come across the border from the NT, or even SA. As far as tourism goes, Qlders can travel where they want [ perhaps not Bundaberg until this is sorted ]. Suits me, I don't like annoying crowds.

I'm not alone. Every one I speak to wants the border closed until this is over. The only ones complaining are those on the other side of the border. Speaks volumes, doesn't it.
