Bit of jail time would be the go .

But before that can take place what about finding time for some time in the Stocks, a Public Flogging &/or a Public Hanging or both?

If neither of those work tell them to Zig Zag down the local Rifle/Pistol Range but don't tell them what for, just do it & find out?

I bet that'll stop them. In their tracks hopefully.

Oh & then time in Gaol.

Why is that there are always some idiots out there that read some lunatic fringe society garbage from the US and then transpose it to our lands?
More importantly! why is it that such serious situations bring out these imbeciles, AND that we have to hear/read/see them in the news.

Are we such a stupid country that even those morons can't think of their own BS, drug induced secret society to pester the authorities with?
Once under the influence of whatever mind numbing concoctions, their only imaginative recourse is to follow some other idiots' preachings from another country.
If they discovered their new found 'sovereignty' via Youtube, didn't they notice the thick accent? If it was via facebook, didn't they notice the swastika in the background?

I hope that the authorities find some arcane, long forgotten, bylaw that would help deal with these pests .. say treason, or treachery against the Australian Sovereign Government .. and detain them in a Guantanamo Bay type facility for an unspecified period, then walk the plank or something like that.
I dunno, sometimes I think that the law should respect these idiots in an equivalently appropriate manner in times of disaster.

With the locked cars loonies, I'd have recommended a more appropriate solution to weld the doors shut good and proper. Onto a flatbed, into a container onto a ship, dump said container in some 'sovereign' waters far off and away from our coast, and be rid of them ... go and be 'sovereign' out there!

Reminds me of those uneducated goofballs all those years ago, citing the '2nd amendment' !! ... when John Howard begun the process of restricting guns ownership.

JEEEEEEEEZUZ Arthur! You are getting as cranky as me. Maybe we should form another
    ""Club"

Yep as well as having an Automatic hanging off their Service Belt they could have an Eency Weency Arc welder. I'm sure BOC could find something to suit.

    Job done.

PS. Only problem I can visualise is that as all lost Sea Containers are apparently finishing up in a whirlpool off The Cape of Good Hope, (that location is ironically suitable I think) by the time they get there in the year dot, they may have found a way to cut themselves out. I suggest the addition of a load of 2 tonne of old building rubble should be sealed in with them.

Then that would really be a case of Job well & truly Done.

    5.56mm is a lot cheaper.

Failing that, a couple of rounds of “ride the lightening” just to help realign some synapses wouldn’t go astray.

I’m all for freedoms. But with freedoms comes responsibility.

You can do whatever you want. As long as it doesn’t impact me and my freedoms. And if it does - I should have the right to shoot you! (And vice-versa)

    It's getting real now!
I'm home for 6 weeks from work.
A determination has been made we can only do 1/3 of our regular stuff so the Director has said he only wants 1/3 of the staff.
I fell on my sword first to go off, to help keep the young ones with families keep in work, actually, truth be known I have months of leave up my sleeve, so I will work on that.
Only real problem is.....6 weeks at home alone....unsupervised by an adult!
    Gulp.

Modeling of COVID-19 on the Diamond Princess Cruise Ship

Not at all surprised. I was that some people argued transmission was hands to mouth only.

I have a cool air zapper at work. A Sneeze Sucker I call it.

Next person in is a lot safer. Bloody expensive but my staff and the people who must be seen for medical needs we cannot provide or do via video or phone still are coming in.

    Welcome to the jungle!
Been 'off work' since mid March here(charter coaches). We were almost ready to go back in July with very minimal work, and then lockdown 2.0 happened, and then lockdown 3.0 - 1million point oh! .. now.
Unlikely to be any work in my field for a few years at the current rate of decline.

On Friday(31) I organised to go back to my old agency, on the Monday(3rd) .. but Sunday(2nd) happened so quickly I had to cancel the appointment with the agency.
Before the govt announcements(on Sunday), about midday, I got a call from the bus Co. asking if I could do a job on Monday but declined, as I'd already booked a meeting at the agency to find me alternate work.

    Arrgghhhh!
    Arthur.

I've been wondering lately about why such a bad resurgence of covid in Victoria. Sure it got out of quarantine and there has been plenty of 'discussion' about behavior of some people etc.

However, what part has winter played in the overall level of the resurgence?

Seems to me this could have played a key part in the extent and magnitude of the resurgence and yet I have not really read anything about it directly related to Australia and Victoria in particular.
