Fully agree. We do need to start focusing on the positives.
The sooner the states start to open up and allow movement across the country and people to re-connect with other people the better we will all be for it.

Apologies to M. Python
ARTHUR VICTOR IAN: In the name of the Lord, we demand entrance to this sacred State!
QUEENSLAND GUARD: No chance, Victorian bed-wetting types. I burst my pimples at you and call your border-opening request a silly thing, you tiny-brained wipers of other people's bottoms!
You are allowed to go where and when you like if you have the .... "influence" ... be that monetary or political.
Me being a lowly peasant, I can go to NSW and meet our first grandchild due in a month but I can't come back to my permanent residence! I would be more than happy to stay at home on my return... for a month if necessary. But to be told "you will quarantine in this squalid, currently unused backpacker hostel and eat this substance we call food and you will pay a premium for this service"!!! **** NO!! This **** is really having a seriously adverse effect on my wife's mental health (which was not great to start with) and it is not doing mine any favours either!
But hey, we got the footy grand final!
Screw you ********* ********* and Dr ********* ********** all good for you clowns you can go where ever you like, when ever you like!
But hey, we got the footy grand final!
Was planning on going to Wollongong at Christmas. Been 4 years since I have seen my family at Christmas and it is not looking good that I will see them this year either.
But hey, we got the footy grand final!

A mate up in Cairns has had a bit of bad luck, got a bug in his foot, lost his toes, now they have had to cut the lower part of his leg off, below the knee. Still has his sense of humour, when I told him I was going to buy him a parrot for Xmas, he said don't get an ugly one. In contact with his wife, if things get worse, a couple of us are on the way up. Couldn't give a stuff about the kiss and giggle game. Besides, we can't believe how many Vics are up here already now. Caravan parks close to Brisbane are full of them. And good luck to them, hope they enjoy themselves .
