Take it as you want, I have friends who are working the roadblocks and Police Officers - they have wet weather gear, it’s just BS sensationalist reporting, ABC or not - they are certainly not immune to this. Believe what you want, I wouldn’t try and run one of the checkpoints just because it’s raining.
SHHH the budget is crap after this. If two or so try and run out of here to the country we get almost 5k a pop back of the debt we have piled up will be reduced fast if people leave. Let them try- I am very sure police and divers all go inside if it rains [biggrin][biggrin][biggrin]
Just imaging the taxes we would need to pay then mate [thumbsupbig]
A married man, late 30's had the C19 virus. We know him. He "recovered" but his memory is not what it was. He still has a "cough" and the energy level is not what it was. He is not the only one we know like this.
The wife's uncle caught the virus and it messed up his immune system which ment he died as his body could not fight an illness he got. His wife died in similar circumstances after him. We did not get to the funerals.
People need to be aware that there are long term effects to this even when you "recover". We still take it seriously but the majority seem to be getting complacent.
Thank you Mr Hunt and Federal Gov. Extending Tele-Health is appreciate and sensible.
I would like it as a permanent option for some minor things myself. Clogging up our waiting rooms for minor stuff could be helpful in avoiding some other transmissible infections and diseases. Our cleaning costs are huge and go up with numbers seen of course.
Alas e-scripts are possibly still on a chopping block at 30 Sept and not clarified as part of this. Its really mostly a fund shift with funding moving from you seeing your Doctor in her/his room to on the phone or video consultation. I am more than happy to pay for the eScripts myself, I cannot yet as the software is still needing an upgrade to allow me to pay for it.
