Good to see some positivity here.
Am I positive?...well I try to be, but at the moment I'm not,...as I've said before, I'm not sure that Aussie is going to go in hard enough,..there are too many "Gaps" to "beat the curve", which is what we have to do. Just yesterday, my wife was in a Chemists, and a guy walks in & says, "I'm positive, I just need so & so"......too much of this happening. In China or some other countries, that person would be locked up.
Want a couple of others, well yesterday 2700 people walk of a ship,..free to go anywhere, no testing. AND, what about the 30,000 Chinese students recently coming here via Bali?
You can google both these "happenings", if you like.
I also have VERY grave doubts that if we don't "beat the curve", in early time, our already tightly stretched health system will be totally overwhelmed.
I now wait to be flamed, Pickles.
NB: Just one more aspect, don't know how many of you live near, or shop in, a decent sized supermarket,...Have you noticed how "Social Distancing" is working correctly there?......Yeah right,......like I said,...too many gaps, & some Aussies aren't on the ball.

A busload of people of Chinese ancestry toured Bathurst, Orange, and Blayney and bought up all the toilet paper and tissues. There’s talk of being required to show ID to prove one is local to be able to buy paper. (Elisabeth saw that in an FB post from a lady we know in Orange.)

Here, at the Lightning Ridge IGA, customers are limited to one pack of toilet paper, available at the customer service desk. We didn’t bother when we shopped there this morning. We think we have enough at home for the immediate future.

I said ONE ship,......actually there were FOUR, all in NSW,.(just revealed on Ch 10 as I post)....also in NSW, NO observance of Social distancing on Bondi Beach,....so I ask you, what hope have we got if Aussies continue to disregard "the rules", which were designed simply, to preserve us all.

They would have gone away disappointed. I saw that on FB too, but I really don't think its an issue to be dealt with out here.

All I can say that if Sco-Mo & his lads & State Gubmints bugger this up there will be a place in the history books revisiting this period in our history & it wont do them any favours.
