Someone has to look out for the general population who are in general trying to do the right thing.

More than 200 people meant to be isolating under strict coronavirus quarantine laws are missing in Queensland - ABC News

[Edit]Looks like a few of these cases are travelers and go back to April.
In a subsequent comment the Qld Premier says she isn't concerned.

Maybe they should the example from the 'Land of the Free'.... Would be more palatable behaviour IF the State/County/City paid the victims for the inconvenience forced on them...
MEDICAL TYRANNY: Kentucky couple forced into house arrest with ankle bracelets after supposedly testing positive for coronavirus – NaturalNews.com

When you remember the PCR test - most likely the one used - throws up false positive / responds to previous corona-type virus presence (common cold, seasonal flu exposure...) and there is NO gold standard test to 'prove' the PCR against.... it starts to get worrying.

How far would some (US, in this case) Authorities be prepared to go in enforcing this? - Would be doubly tragic if they turned out to be NOT infected...
Then we in WA recently had a medical data breach - done by a 15 year old kid. Anyone else feeling insecure about government electronic health records / COVID Test results ?

Yes, I absolutely have reservations about electronic health records but that's not what he compromised. He intercepted bog standard unencrypted pager messages to health professionals which contained relevant patient information. He didn't compromise any of the health network or data stored on it.

This stuff has been flying through the air for 30 odd years. The protocols are well documented and have changed little. It's still in use because it's still more reliable than the mobile phone network. Theres a heck of a lot more than just health using that system, it's just their data is probably less interesting to your average bored teenager looking to drum up a bit of news.

A idiot here drove around after her test to several country towns and effectively shut them down as the idiot is positive.

the numbers here a consistently being added to by people who are not following basic guidelines and speeding.

Common Sense is uncommon of course

With scumbags like that about it is NO wonder there were 484 new cases over the last 24hrs in VIC, What will it take to get these sort of people to pull their heads out of their arses.

They need to make the punishment for these types of offences a short prison sentence while quarantined as well as the fine - 2 weeks in a lockup might make some of these ****wits think a bit more or let the public know their names and addresses so they can be public ally shamed (and house egged of course)
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
