Covid vaccine passports are inevitable in Australia and worldwide.Originally Posted by NavyDiver;[URL="tel:3097583"
The thing is that many Land Rover owners use their vehicles to drive around the country (continent) as citizens for work, not just recreation. The restriction of which is supposedly an inalienable right for citizens. Being denied that right has nothing to do with having citizenship revoked.
Understandably in the current circumstances (covid travel restrictions) the majority view their rights being curtailed as an inconvenience, however there are many whose entire careers and livelihoods require regular interstate (and international) travel. The restriction of which has not really been factored into any support programs - especially if you happen to live outside a red zone ie: ineligible for covid payments even if your interstate income has evaporated.
The National and International travel restrictions are affecting citizens rights and livelihoods in many ways that remain unrecognised. Restrictions on domestic road travel for work (not just freight drivers) in Australia is a huge overlooked factor in the current Covid19 context. Those of us who use our vehicles as work tools enabling interstate careers are severely affected, not only within the lock down period but also in the long term planning of projects.

Both interstate and overseas travel can be done with the right permits - even now. Whether or not you'd get that approval would depend on quite a few things. If you're Dad's just been killed in a car accident and you need to attend the funeral and you're fully vaccinated and test negative - no, you won't get a permit, but if you're a removalist with covid - yep, no problem...
Lots of people can't work at the moment and have lost their jobs - not just those requiring interstate and OS so what's the difference? Why open up things any more - it's a cluster **** anyway with things 'locked down' - we'll never get through this if every other person has an exemption.

Two Qld companies , Ellume , and Anteotech, have developed covid home testing kits , with Ellume securing a $300 Million deal with the US defence dept., and Anteotech has entered European and SE Asian markets with their Eugeni rapid test kit. There is talk of the home test kits being approved in Australia, and the Eugeni kits are expected to be widely distributed once approval has been gained.
COVID testing kit a hit overseas but banned at home (inqld.com.au)

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
An Aussie company has one as well which is reasonably accurate. More accurate than many of the other instant home tests.
Clever sods did not have to go to school till they found out they rigged the test. OJ I think of the top of my head.
Careful what you wish for I thinkI think they will be common at business before they allow you in for a visit at those places with deep pockets which can afford to pay for them
Airlines and similar are buying them already. NOT A SHARE TIP!!!!! Ellume | Home
